Question: Why did you change your name from AWESOME BROTHERS? A: There are many reasons grounded in both the beauty and necessity of change, but there was also a particular motivator: As of March 15, 2009, the total number of velour sweatpants with the word “Awesome” appliquéd to the butt that we had personally witnessed climbed to over 23 unique sightings. We feel that this data conclusively foreshadows an imminent global event: The death of Awesome. Wanting no part in the demise of the much beloved blanket-word of our youth, and because of its unseemly partnership with the butt chakra, we bid awesomess adieu and journeyed north to the arctic wilds of the heart.

This is a music video we made for our good friends the Chinese Stars. The song is called “Body” from their new album Heaven on Speed Dial. Starring Nicole Rocco. The video has been popping up here and there on the web including on the ever-so-ever Magnet Magazine blog.

It’s a collection of short live-action videos and features the first installment of our ongoing animated video-drum machine project. Halfway Point

So, we are halfway through our tour and are on a three day mini-break. Check our shows page to see if we will be coming to your town, or if you missed us already (for shame!). Thanks to everyone who came to our shows! We heart you.

Today , I have a bit of time to write on this site today for a little update. We will be recording an album sometime around thanksgiving. After that, we will play more shows. In between all of that, we should be updating this site with some real content like videos and music and pictures and stuff. After that, WORLD DOMINATION. But until then, sit tight.

This is the new website for the “Sensitive Hearts”. We used to be called the “Awesome Brothers” but we decided to change our name. We are currently getting together some content for this new website, so in the meantime you can check out awesomebrothers.com for some of our older music and videos.
